KATANA BLADE: The blade is made of T10 steel in a Maru style. Heat treated and oil quenched, built for cutting, extremely sharp hand honed edge. Traditional Hand Polished Finish, the blade surface is like a mirror.

KATANA HANDLE:The handle core is made of hard wood, The ito features alternating crossovers in a hinerimaki style which made the handle tighter and durable. The Red Raykin(samegawa) are Genuine. The tsuba, Fuchi and Koshira are made of alloy. The tang is secured by two bamboo Mekugi.

KATANA SHEATH: The saya of the sword is hard wooden with a gloss finish. The sageo is synthetic silk tied over a wooden kurigata with golden shitedome. The kurikata(knot) is placed the proper distance from the koiguchi to allow the user to easily release the sword from the saya.
