This blade is a stunning combination of beauty and functionality.
KATANA BLADE: The blade has been constructed from T10 High Carbon steel in a Maru style. It has been hand polished using Japanese water stones. After sharpening, the blade is etched with an oxidation process to give the surface it's blue color. This process not only gives the blade a beautiful appearance, but also prevents rust. this blade is built for cutting, extremely sharp hand honed edge. This katana blade comes with Full Tang.
KATANA HANDLE: The tsuka has very tight hinerimaki (handle wrapping) using blue synthetic ito over genuine white samegawa ray skin. The ito features alternating cross overs which made the handle tighter and durable. The tsuba, Fuchi and Koshira are made of alloy with Dragon designed. The habaki and seppa are made of brass. The full tang is secured by two bamboo Mekugi.
KATANA SHEATH: The saya of the katana sword is hard wooden with a matte finish. it is durable and not easy to scratch. The dragon pattern on the says is full hand carved. The sageo is synthetic silk tied over a wooden kurigata with golden shitedome. The kurikata(knot) is placed the proper distance from the koiguchi to allow the user to easily release the sword from the saya.
